My name is Laura Nelson, I am 24 years old and am a Graphic design student at the University of Hertfordshire. 

 

My interest all started from my hobby of book reading, where I would spend countless hours reading stories about their unrealistic worlds alongside their creatures and characters. However, these worlds only came to life through the use of my imagination and as a result of this; I turned to art as a way of illustrating my thoughts and ideas.

 

I have ventured into 3D Design, Illustration, Photography, Games Development, Animation and many more! My goal as an artist is to never stop learning and be able to apply my knowledge and skills effectively.

 

So why Graphics Design you ask? Well, the subject enables me to work with multiple disciplines. As you can see from my portfolio, I love to explore and experiment. To have the opportunity to apply other mediums to my designs is the type of work I want to produce for myself and others.
